The historical hotel ELIZABETH is exceptional due to its attractive location directly under the medieval castle, in the center of the city of Trenčín. From the summer terrace of the hotel and from the ELIZABETH restaurant, you can admire a unique, almost 2000-year-old Roman inscription on the castle rock.

Hotel Elizabeth, originally named “Erszebet Szalo”, was built by Baron Armin Popper. It started its operation on January 1, 1902 and immediately became part of the social and cultural life of the city of Trenčín. In 1921, it was renamed “Hotel Tatra”. Here, Noblesa met the perfect service and comfort of Viennese establishments. In 2006, the Slovak company SYNOT GASTRO SLOVAKIA, s.r.o. became the owner of the hotel.

In 2010, a large-scale reconstruction, rebuilding and extension of new and old establishments, corresponding to the demands of hotel category **** guests, began. All this was possible only thanks to an investment of 15 million. EUR.

Nobility met here with perfect comfort and service of Viennese facilities. In 2006, SYNOT GASTRO SLOVAKIA, sro. became the new owner of the hotel. In 2010, extensive reconstruction, redevelopment and extension of the premises began, to make sure it will accommodate the needs to its guests with four star excellence and quality. All this was possible thanks to an investment of 13 million Euros, with substantial contribution by the European Union.
